there was a loud honk streaking past our house this morning when i was in the shower. the boy came running in and said that he looked up from the computer when he heard it and saw the budget moving truck and the trailer zoom past. cynthia and tim are officially on their way to new mexico.

i bought a house. i closed on it on friday morning. the sellers (cynthia and tim) moved out this morning. we went over there today to take measurements, etc. and just for the fun of it. and to bask in the glory of an empty house.

im not as excited as one might expect. i have too many other things circling around this. like where the down payment money came from and how she isnt here to share this experience with me.

but i feel really proud. i did it on my own.
